Africa-Press – Tanzania. NAMUNGO Head Coach Hemed Morocco has defended the signing of striker David Molinga ‘Falcao’ saying he is a good player set to bring positive contributions to the club next season.
The Southern Killers side are currently pitching a camp at Black Rhino Academy in Karatu, Arusha as they sharpen their swords to make sure that they come back in the contest afresh ready to battle.
In his recent remarks, Morocco praised the former Young Africans ‘hitman’ saying he is going to improve a lot at his club that is why he recommended him to land at the club.
“He is a good player and even when he was at Yanga, he was improving. I believe that he is going to be serious at his new home,” said him.
Moreover, Morocco admitted that all the signings which have been accomplished at Namungo are his preferences as such, he has no doubt that his new brigade will work hard to produce what they want to achieve in the coming term.
Talking about the progress of his team, he revealed that so far, everything is unfolding well and that each player in the squad is of great health grasping what he is imparting them.
“We are building team chemistry since there are some new players who have just joined us as such, our main focus at the moment is to ensure that we create balance in the team,” he narrated.
He added that Karatu is a perfect destination for them to pitch a camp due to the nature of its environment which enables players to concentrate on the lessons being given to them.
The striking force for Namungo has big names like Molinga, Obrey Chirwa, Bigirimana Blaise and Reliant Lusajo thereby giving the coach enough options of whom to engage according to the nature of their opponents.
“We are happy to snatch good players to fill the gaps which were unmasked in the past season and it is our hope that in the upcoming league campaign, Namungo is going to be a competitive team than ever before,“ he said.
