Africa-Press – Tanzania. US chip giant Nvidia will send chips to Saudi state-run company Humain to be used in artificial intelligence factories to be built in the country.
US President Donald Trump, visiting Saudi Arabia as part of his Middle East tour on Tuesday, was accompanied by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
Huang announced the strategic partnership with Humain at an investment forum held as part of the visit.
The Nvidia statement said that over the next five years, Humain will invest in Saudi Arabia to establish AI factories with a capacity of up to 500 megawatts.
“The first phase of deployment will be an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer with NVIDIA InfiniBand networking,” the firm said.
