Africa-Press – Tanzania. PAMBA have confirmed sacking their Head Coach, Ally Kisaka who lasted for about 20 days and the club has announced Athuman Cairo as his successor who has signed a one-year deal.
Under his tutelage Kisaka led the team in four matches winning 2-1 against Ken Gold at CCM Kirumba and then beating Ndanda 1-0 at Nangwanda Sijaona Stadium in Mtwara. Pamba drew 1-1 with Ihefu at Highland estate stadium. They lost 2-0 to Pan African at Uhuru stadium.
Confirming the arrival of the new coach Athuman Cairo, Pamba Secretary General Johnson James said they have recruited Cairo and given him a one-year contract.
“We have sealed a deal with Athuman Cairo who is now the head coach and we will be with him for the rest of the season. Coach Ally Kisaka left our team due to family reasons and he has returned to Zanzibar. We urge fans to continue to supporting their team to enable it achieve its goals,” Johnson said.
Johnson said coach Cairo has already trained Mgambo Shooting, Police Morogoro, African Sport and Mbao.
On his side Pamba head coach Athuman Cairo confirmed his resignation from Mbao after being dissatisfied with the team’s performance.
He said he left Mbao FC because players were not attending training and team management has abandoned the team.
“I left Mbao FC due to the difficult working environment. The team has a few players who attend training and I was training with five to seven players a day. He said.
Cairo said he now focuses on promoting Pamba back to the Premier League.
