Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Phoenix Assurance has launched the Utulivu service, which is an added benefit to all private motor comprehensive policies.
Phoenix Assurance Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashraf Musbally said Utulivu is a 24/7 roadside assistance service for private motor comprehensive policies within the Dar es Salaam Region at no additional cost.
The CEO said the 24/7 roadside assistance service include, battery jump start, flat tyre assistance, lost keys, fuel delivery, onsite minor repair and towing 24hrs.
“We saw a gap in the market for private car owners who often experience such inconveniences while on the road and struggle at times to find timely assistance without having to reach out to family or friends.
“We believe as a responsible insurer to offer such services to our customers will provide an even more assurance that their insurer is a phone call way in the event they may find themselves in any of the mentioned challenges day or night,” said Musbally. He went on to say, “We would like to point out that the utulivu service is not an insurance cover but an additional service at no extra costs to the clients.
We take this opportunity to remind all our private motor comprehensive policy holders to use the Utulivu service. He said Phoenix Assurance; a private motor comprehensive policy already covers accidental/ fire damage to your vehicle, loss of vehicle or spare parts/accessories, protection and removal after the accident.
