Africa-Press – Tanzania. Zanzibar President Dr Hussein Mwinyi has appointed Muumin Khamis Kombo as a Judge of the Isles’ High Court.
A press statement released on Friday by the Isle’s Chief of Secretary Engineer Zena Said stated that the Head of State has also appointed Ms Salma Ali Hassan as a new Director of Public Prosecutions and Mwanamkaa Abdulrahman Mohammed as her Deputy.
The appointment of the three appointees is effective from today (October 29, 2021), she added in the statement.
Eng Zena added that Dr Mwinyi will administer oaths of the newly appointed officials at the State House tommorow (October 30, 2021).
