Africa-Press – Tanzania. President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed former Southern African Southern African Development Community, Dr Stargomena Tax as Member of Parliament.
According to the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, the President is entitled to appoint 10 MPs of which five of them must be female.
Dr Tax retired at SADC August, this year.
A State House statement issued Friday stated that the newly appointed MP will be sworn as per Parliament’s regulations
