Africa-Press – Tanzania. President Samia Suluhu Hassan has argued Tanzanians to maintain love and solidarity as the country eyes to implement resolutions reached at 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Addressing a cheerful crowd gathered at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam to welcome back the President who was in New York where she attended and addressed the 76th United Nations General Assembly, Samia said world leaders discussed various issues but the implementation was subject to the solidarity among Tanzanians.
Vice President Dr Philip Mpango and Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa were among top government officials who led wananchi to welcome back the President.
The Head of State briefed issues they discussed at the Assembly including, but not limited to, Covid-19 pandemic, vaccination and climate change.
“We also looked at the direction of the world in fighting against the Corona pandemic, countries that have advanced in vaccination and countries that are still behind and see how to collaborate and overcome this tragedy,” President Samia said.
