President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Mr Rogatus Mativila as the new National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Chief Executive, filling the vacuum left by the late Engineer Patrick Mfugale.
Engineer Mfugale passed away in Dodoma June 29, 2021.
A press statement issued by the President’s Directorate of Communications in Dar es Salaam said prior to the appointee’s new position, Mativila was working at the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communications as Director of Roads (DR).
Meanwhile, the Head of State has also appointed Prof Yunus Mgaya as the Board Chairman of Tanzania Fisheries Corporation (TAFICO).
Prior to his new role, Prof Mgaya was the Director General at National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR)’s Director General.
The statement added that the appointment came into effect on 28 July, 2021.
