Africa-Press – Tanzania. President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Mcha Hassan Mcha as a new Deputy Commissioner of the Tanzania Revenue Authorities (TRA).
Prior to the appointment, Mr Mcha was serving as the Commissioner of Control and Enforcement at Taxman’s headquarters.
Mr Mcha fills a vacuum left by Msafiri Mbibo was promoted to the post of Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Minerals, Tuesday’s press statement issued by the State House in Dodoma added.
Meanwhile, the Head of State appointed Ambassador Celestine Mushy to represent the country in Austria.
Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Mushy was the assistant Administrative Secretary in the Office of the Mtwara Regional Commissioner.
According to the statement, Mr Mushy’s appointment became effective from January 14, 2022 while Mcha’s new role started effective from December 5, 2021.
