Africa-Press – Tanzania. President Samia Suluhu Hassan Friday led mourners to bid their last resoects to the body of the fallen Tanzania Roads Agency (TANROADS) Chief Executive Engineer Patrick Mfugale at Karimjee grounds in Dar es Salaam.
Engineer Mfugale took his last breath on Wednesday (June 30, 2021) while receiving treatment at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma Region.
Speaking at a requiem for the demised Engineer, President Samia Suluhu Hassan said that the country has lost a competent public servant who devoted himself to the country’s development.
“Our country has lost a competent engineer, a patriot who was always ready to serve his country,” the Head of State said.
Moreover, the Head of State added that the late Mfugale was not only devoted to his sector of work but also performed well in other sectors as well.
“We have heard it here, Engineer Mfugale is the father of flyovers, bridges, roads, airports but he also supported implementation of other projects out of his sector,” – President Samia Suluhu Hassan described the TANROAD boss.
Engineer Mfugale, who passed away aged 71, served as the public servant since1977 and led the Tanzania Roads Agency (TANROADS) since 2009 until he died.
