Africa-Press – Tanzania. Puni County DIWAN, Shinyanga Engineer District Council on Tuesday, Rawahwi, has congratulated young bodaboda of the Didia Rising Area for continuing to maintain peace, urging them not to be used to disrupt peace with a few people who do not call good Tanzania.
Radwahi has made those congratulations yesterday while talking to the young people, urging them to protect the country’s peace as it is the basis for the development and well-being of the public. He has said if the country’s peace is disrupted, development activities will stop, a situation that will further affect independent youth by doing daily jobs, including bodaboda drivers.
“When the country’s peace is disrupted, development activities will stop and you will fail to earn a living and serve your families, because you will find yourself within ‘lockdown’,” said Engineer Wonderful.
“I thank the young bodaboda for continuing to maintain peace and refusing to serve in unhealthy protests. Peace is a tune of our Nation, so protect us with great jealousy and defend our President, Samia Suluhu Hassan, a compassionate and pastoral mother and the development of the public,” said Engineer.
For their part, young bodaboda led by Paul Laurent have said they are not ready to be used to disrupt the country’s peace, stating that they are the biggest victims when violence occurs, as they fail to carry out income-generating activities and their families lacking basic needs.
They have said violent events that occurred on October 29, and on Independence Day, December 9, being told to remain in the home, have affected them from their lives to rely on outsiders to work to get punished.
James Lugembe, has called on the government through defense and security agencies to continue to take concrete steps to maintain the country’s peace, so that citizens can continue to carry out their economic activities without fear.
