Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE upcoming Queenfident Masterclass 2026, scheduled on April 11th in Dar es Salaam, is set to equip women with the confidence, mindset, and practical tools needed to unlock opportunities and maximize their potential.

It is an impactful transformational masterclass designed to empower women to show up, speak up, and lead confidently in their personal, professional, and public lives.

We are honored to have the former President of the Pan-African Parliament and a Pioneer of Women’s Leadership in Africa, Gertrude Mongella, with us.

In addition, the keynote address will be delivered by Guinness World Record Holder, Global Leadership Strategist, and Peak Performance Coach Dr. Shogo Oyeniyi from Nigeria.

Speaking to reporters in the city today, April 3rd, QUEENFIDENT Network Founder and Confidence Architect, Ms Faithbeth Mkenda, said the event is set to leave a lasting impact.

“QUEENFIDENT was created to address a critical gap based on the fact that many women today are educated, skilled, competent, and capable, yet they hesitate to step forward, speak up, show up or position themselves for opportunities.

“This lack of confidence often results in women being overlooked, unseen, unheard, missing out on life-changing opportunities or underrepresented in key spaces. As such, QUEENFIDENT is here to change that narrative by creating a space where women are not only inspired, but also equipped to take bold steps in their lives and careers,” she said.

Asked who is eligible to attend, she said women who are ready to grow and elevate themselves, including professional women, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesswomen.

“It is for women who want to build confidence, communication and leadership skills, expand their networks, as well as position themselves for greater impact in their personal and professional journeys.

“We want to see women step out of their comfort zones and become more confident in how they show up in the world.

“Beyond the event, we aim to see women speaking up in rooms where they previously held back, pursuing opportunities they once felt unqualified for, increased visibility and leadership among women in different sectors as well as stronger networks and collaborations formed among attendees,” Ms Mkenda said.

She further acknowledged that confidence cannot be built in a single day as such QUEENFIDENT has come in as a starting point, with plans for ongoing mentorship, coaching, and training to support women in their continued growth journey.

“This will be more than an event; it is a space of transformation, access, and opportunity…conversations will focus on key areas such as confidence and mental well-being, personal branding and visibility, purpose, financial growth, and positioning oneself for opportunities.

“These topics are critical because they address not only what women know, but how they present, express, and apply that knowledge in real-life situations.

“For organizations, partners, NGOs, and stakeholders, QUEENFIDENT presents an opportunity to invest in the development of confident, capable women who contribute meaningfully to economic growth, leadership, and social transformation,” she concluded.

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of women’s empowerment in Tanzania and across Africa. Initiatives like the Queenfident Masterclass are part of a broader movement to address gender disparities in leadership and professional spaces. Historically, women have faced significant barriers to participation in various sectors, often resulting in underrepresentation and limited opportunities. Programs aimed at building confidence and skills are essential for fostering a more inclusive society.
