Africa-Press – Tanzania. Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA), will later today (Tuesday) issue reduced fuel levies and other charges breakdown.

After President Samia Suluhu Hassan directed responsible authorities to reduce charges imposed on the precious liquid to cut down living cost, Energy Minister January Makamba took to the Twitter to inform public over the development.
According to Mr Makamba, from tomorrow (Wednesday October 6, 2021), several institutions will stop collecting 101bn/-, a move that is expected to bring a trickle down positive effects to the lives of majority.
“Pump prices include various taxes and levies. What we have done is to reduce some levies to have reduced fuel prices. EWURA will give more details later today (Tuesday),” he tweeted.
