AfricaPress-Tanzania: POLICE in Kagera Region have intensified investigations into a fire that gutted a storey building at Kwauso Secondary School in Bukoba Rural District.

Kagera Regional Police Commander (RPC) Revocatus Malimi told this paper that no stone will be left unturned to establish the circumstances behind the incident.

“Fire broke out on the storey building on Wednesday at around 9.00 pm as the students were studying in classes. The building is also used as a dormitory. However, there were no casualties. Investigations are ongoing,” he explained.

The Catholic Churchowned secondary school was established in 2011 and has a total of 542 students (both boys and girls) in Forms One to Four.
