Africa-Press – Tanzania. Antoine Semenyo delivered a dazzling performance for Bournemouth as he scored twice and provided an assist in their 3-1 comeback victory over Fulham in the Premier League.
The Ghanaian forward was the star of the show, responding to Fulham’s 70th-minute opener with a moment of individual brilliance. After a clever run into the box on the end of a Truffert pass, Semenyo squeezed the ball in from an acute angle in the 78th minute to make it 1-1.
Six minutes later, he turned provider, setting up Justin Kluivert, who fired Bournemouth ahead with a crisp finish in the 84th minute.
Semenyo wasn’t done yet. Deep into stoppage time, in the 90+6th minute, he latched onto a precise pass from Ben Doak during a quick counter-attack and smashed it home to secure the 3-1 victory.
His commanding display comes at the perfect time for Ghana, as the Black Stars prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Semenyo’s form promises to inject fresh energy into the national squad as they chase a place on football’s biggest stage.
