He also insisted regional and district sports committee chairpersons to consider practical implementation of the directives in the sports development policy of 1995, the 1967 national sports council law together with its reforms which give duties to Regional Administrative Secretaries and District Administrative Secretaries, to ensure sports activities take place accurately under authorized relevant supervision.
“This will only happen if we will have good sports infrastructure.” He has directed ministries, regions and all government institutions to prepare themselves for the next year SHIMIWI Games.
This year’s Games drew on course 24 ministries, 11 regions, 4 agencies and 8 government departments.
