Africa-Press – Tanzania. YOUNG Africans Head Coach, Nasreddine Nabi said the reason which compelled him to keenly watch Simba versus Namungo match on Wednesday was to scout the latter before facing them on November 20th.

Yanga who lead the table with 15 points will travel to play Namungo at Ilulu Stadium in Lindi for their third away match of the campaign as the scramble for three points escalates.

Namungo, who are still struggling to get their form are placed 11th on the ladder with five points in the bag as they have just won one match as such, much of their energy will be diverted to doing well in this game.

“Football is not just about training and playing matches but also, scouting plays a very important role that is why I decided to come here and watch how they (Namungo) play,” said Nabi.

He added that the Lindi based club has transformed their team for 80 per cent as most of their players are new as such, it was vital for him to personally descend at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium to see how they play.

Asked what he observed after the game, the Tunisian trainer described Namungo as one of the best teams in the league with a quality squad and that they will probably manage to finish the season on top-four pack.

As the league is paused to give way for the FIFA international break, Yanga are the only side to have enjoyed every minute of their five played matches after winning all of them to haul 15 maximum points.

They have scored nine goals more than any other team in the contest with Polisi Tanzania scooping the second place after netting seven goals also from five games they have played.

Debutants Mbeya Kwanza are third on the top scoring chart with six goals from five battles while Biashara United, Mbeya City, Azam, Dodoma Jiji and Namungo have each netted four goals.

Simba, Kagera Sugar and Ruvu Shooting have registered three goals apiece whereas KMC, Coastal Union, Mtibwa Sugar and Tanzania Prisons have had blunt striking force as they have just scored one goal in five fixtures.
