Africa-Press – Tanzania. A Premier League match between Simba SC and Kagera Sugar, scheduled to be played at Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba later today, has been postponed until further notice.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) confirmed the postponement of the match this afternoon based on medical grounds.
It has been reported that 16 players out of 22 Simba SC players traveled to Bukoba have been affected by flu and coughing.
“In respect to Regulation No. 34: 1 (1.3) of the Premier League, the match has been postponed and a new date will be set in accordance with Regulation No. 34: 2,” the statement said.
After the TFF decision, Simba SC posted on its official social media platforms notifying followers that the match has been postponed but more details will be available on its Application (App).
