Africa-Press – Tanzania. ZANZIBAR: Abdullah Mwinyi, a son of the late former Ali Hassan Mwinyi, the family is great and thankful to God for granting his father a privilege to live for 98 years.
Abdullah who is a Muhonda legislature made the statement earlier on Saturday during the State funeral held at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar said he never saw his father getting sick until the past two years.
All the time, he added, his dad was strong and fit.
“In fact, he lived a very blessed life,” he stated.
He thanked President Samia Suluhu Hassan, her government and staff of Mzena Hospital for supporting their father when he was receiving treatments at the facility.
