Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA is set to attract more investors from South East Asian countries with 200bn/- expected to be injected in construction of residential houses in Dodoma city.
Also, a total of 12 Mega companies from South East Asia are already exploring different investment opportunities in different areas such as ICTs, real estate, electronics, agriculture and many others.
Signing the Memorandum of understanding (MoU) recently, the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) Executive Director, Mr Francis Nanai said investors from the Tiger economies had shown interest in setting investments in the country.
The MoU was signed by Tanzania – Asian Business Council (TADB), the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and Mega Dynamic Builders on behalf of Asian group of Asian Companies.
“Today, we witness investors from the Tiger economies showing interest of setting up businesses in Tanzania, and use the country as a gateway to Eastern and Southern African Economies,” stated Mr Nanai.
He commended President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her push on inviting more investors in the country.
