Africa-Press – Tanzania. Sports and Culture Development fund is a top priority in the next 2021/22 budget estimates as the government plans to invest more to boost the sector.
This was revealed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr Hassan Abbasi in Dodoma, Thursday, during a special iftar prepared by the Multichoice Tanzania to its stakeholders.
The PS said the fund will support sports and culture activities in the country as he applauded Multichoice Tanzania for their contributions in transforming the sector.
“I congratulate Multichoice Tanzania for the great investment you have made in the industry, you are the father of television technology in the country, in this area you have become good leaders, you have shown the way to others, I congratulate you for launching films with Tanzanian content,” Dr Abbasi added
