Africa-Press – Tanzania. Dar es Salaam: T-MARC Tanzania has joined hands with other organizations in Tanzania to celebrate Women’s International Day.
Women’s International Day is celebrated annually worldwide and is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women’s achievement, educate and raise awareness about women’s equality, call for positive change in advancing women.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam during the celebrations, T-MARC Tanzania Director of Operations Riziki Nahum said the organization recognizes efforts being put by women in building families, organisations and the county in general, efforts which are being led by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
“We would like also to recognize the involvement of women in different leadership and decision-making roles of which some years ago were being dominated by men. This clearly shows how the country trust women on leadership and decision-making roles,” she said.
Nahum said that T-MARC Tanzania being an institute that is committed on delivering innovative, evidence-based social marketing and behavior change communication solutions, for that reason we make a call for all women worldwide to continue developing themselves and be confidence that they can do and achieve what they want when they put more efforts in whatever they are doing.
