Africa-Press – Tanzania. Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr. Ngwaru Maghembe, has received Copies of Letters of Credence from the Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Namibia to Tanzania, Gabriel Sinimbo. The ceremony took place at the Ministry’s Offices in Dodoma.
While receiving the documents, Dr. Maghembe congratulated Ambassador-Designate Sinimbo on his appointment to represent his country in Tanzania. He stated that the Government of Tanzania is keen to see the relations between the two nations continue to grow stronger, and assured the Ambassador of close cooperation from the Ministry and the Government at large throughout his diplomatic tenure.
Dr. Maghembe also emphasized the importance of strengthening the existing diplomatic and economic cooperation, noting that Ambassador Sinimbo’s arrival will help advance these efforts for the benefit of the people of both countries. He added that Tanzania values the longstanding historical relationship it shares with Namibia.
For his part, Ambassador-Designate Gabriel Sinimbo thanked Dr. Maghembe for the warm reception and assured him that the Government of Namibia is committed to enhancing and maintaining the cooperation between the two nations. He also pledged to work closely with the Government of Tanzania in strengthening various areas of development and diplomacy between the two countries.
