Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA Football Federation (TFF) has announced the reopening of CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza for NBC Premier League matches after completing renovations that meet the football standards.
According to a statement issued by TFF, the stadium was initially banned from hosting matches after its infrastructure failed to meet the requirements set in the Club Licensing Regulations.
However, after an inspection confirmed that the necessary renovations had been completed, the federation decided to remove the stadium from the list of banned venues.
TFF has also reminded all clubs participating in the NBC Premier League to continue improving and maintaining their home stadium infrastructure.
Clubs that do not own their stadiums are urged to collaborate with stadium owners to ensure that league matches are played in quality venues that enhance competition and add value to the league.
It is worth noting that on July 15 last year, TFF President Wallace Karia emphasized that the federation would be stricter this season in enforcing stadium maintenance regulations to ensure the NBC Premier League maintains high standards in gameplay and infrastructure.
