Africa-Press – Tanzania. The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Election Committee has approved three candidates for the presidency of the Tanzania’s football governing body.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Wednesday, the election committee’s Vice-chairman, Benjamin Kalume named the candidates as Hawa Mniga, Evans Mgeusa and incumbent President Wallace Karia.
According to Kalume, three nominated candidates have passed the criteria to vie for the federation’s presidency in the elections to be held on August 7, 2021 in Tanga region.
He disclosed that other candidates failed to meet number of criteria including lack of guarantors.
