Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Commissioner General of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), Yusuph Mwenda, has announced that TRA services have resumed in all offices nationwide that were affected during the election on October 29, 2025.
The Commissioner announced during his visit to the new TRA offices at Buguruni in Dar es Salaam, where services have resumed after the previous offices were damaged during the election, while expressing sympathy to taxpayers who had to travel long distances for services during the renovation period.
Elaborating, he said that after the previous offices were damaged, quick measures were taken to restore services in all seven affected offices across the country, and that the offices are now operating normally.
Speaking on the safety of taxpayers’ information, the commissioner stated that customer data is secure because TRA uses digital systems to store its information, and the systems are not located in the offices.
