Africa-PressTanzania. THERE are possibilities to have another Kariakoo Derby at the semifinal stage of the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) in case the three Dar es Salaam giants managed to clear their quarterfinals’ hurdles.

The three giants; Simba, Young African and Azam also hold the Premier League’s top three places.

In the draw conducted yesterday and aired on Azam Sport 1 channel, revealed that the defending champions Simba will host Dodoma Jiji at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The second quarterfinal will involve Rhino Rangers who will invite Azam FC at CCM Kambarage stadium in Shinyanga. The third quarterfinal game will be between Biashara United who will host Namungo at Karume Stadium in Musoma.

The fourth quarterfinal will include Mwadui who will lock horns with Yanga at Mwadui Complex stadium in Shinyanga. The quarter finals games are scheduled to take action from May 25th, 26th and 27th.

The semifinals will be played at Majimaji Stadium in Songea and Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora. The semifinalist timetable will depend on the teams which will win their quarterfinal games.

In which the winner between Simba and Dodoma Jiji will meet with the winner between Rhino Rangers and Azam FC at Majimaji Stadium; whilst the winner between Biashara United and Namungo will play against the winner of a match between Mwadui and Yanga at Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium.

The semifinals games are expected to take action at the beginning of July. The finalists will meet at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma
