Africa-Press – Tanzania. WILDLIFE enthusiasts are set to be treated to an ultimate safari experience, following the launch of Siringit Migration Camp next month.
The new kid on the block will embody the soul of Classical Safari where sustainable intimate mobile camps move in symbiosis with the great Wildebeest and Zebra migrations in the mighty Serengeti National Park.
In an interview with the ‘Daily News’ at the weekend, Area General Manager with Siringet Collection Tawanda Munengiwa said the new facility brings five-star luxury to the mobile safari experience at the heart of the Serengeti.
“Traveling is always a spectacular experience, that’s why we’ve put in place an ideal place for people who wish to reconnect with nature and tranquility,” explained Mr Munengiwa, on the sidelines of the Siringit Collection Roadshow 2021.
While at Siringit camp, wildlife enthusiasts will connect with the wilderness while also catching a glimpse of the millions of hooves of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson ‘s gazelle as they undertake their annual migration to new grazing lands.
According to Mr Munengiwa, the camp moves in symbiosis with nature, migrating with the herds from the spectacular Mara River crossings in Northern Serengeti to the calving season in the Southern Serengeti.
“The new facility will offer travellers nature’s unrivalled experience,” he added. The Siringit Migration Camp is part of two other facilities under Mantis collection in the country’s northern tourism circuit.
Others are the Siringit Villa, which is famed for its lush Golf Course at Maji ya Chai village in Arusha and the Siringit Serengeti Camp located at the heart of Africa’s best park.
Tourism remains the second sector in Tanzania after the manufacturing sector in contributing to the national income.
In particular, the travel and tourism sector’s contribution to Gross Domestic Product(GDP) in 2019 was $ 6,577.3 million, equivalent to 10.7 per cent of the country’s GDP, according to 2020 World Travel and Tourism Council(WTTC) findings.
