Africa-Press – Tanzania. DAR ES SALAAM: A 60-member contingent of Young Africans will depart this afternoon en-route to Cairo, Egypt for their last Group D CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly on Friday.

The club’s Media and Communication Manager Ally Kamwe has confirmed on Tuesday morning saying their flight is set to take off at 5:55 PM.

“We expect to aboard Ethiopian Airlines and land in Ethiopia at 8:33 PM and from there, we will connect to Cairo, Egypt and we expect to arrive at around 1:00 AM,” he says.

He further says the travelling contingent consist of 24 players, 13 technical bench members and 23 club officials.

“Our aim is to stamp success over Al Ahly so that we should command the group and earn the privilege of starting our champions league quarter-finals fixture away,” says him.

Regardless of the outcome, Yanga already sealed last eight qualifications following a heavy 4-0 success against CR Belouizdad at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
