FOR IMPROVEMENT IN CHILDREN’S RIGHTS NEED TO SPEND 47 BILLION

AfricaPress-Tanzania: The Second Strategic Plan for the Sustainable Development of Child Rights in the Country which will be implemented for five years between 2020 / 21-2024 / 25 is estimated to cost Sh 49.6 billion until its completion.

Speaking at the launch of the initiative, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Constitution and Law, Professor Sifuni Mchome said among other things it focused on celebrating and developing the initiatives set out in the First Strategic Plan for 2013-2017.

Professor Mchome said the Second Strategic Plan aims to further improve the productivity of child justice in the country set out in the first plan, including the establishment of child protection infrastructure in state and justice institutions.
