AfricaPress-Tanzania: THE Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children has confirmed today (Friday) that two patients from Dar es Salaam have died of Coronavirus.
Apart from that, five new cases from Dar es Salaam and two in Zanzibar have been recorded.
So far, deaths caused by the global pandemic disease in Tanzania have increased to three.
A Ministry’s press statement shared today described people who died of the disease are men, aged 50+.
Generally, number of people who have tested positive for Coronavirus in Tanzania stands at 32 while five patients have fully recovered, the statement signed by Health Minister, Ummy Mwalimu added.
Of the new five cases reported from Dar es Salaam, four are men and a woman.
