AfricaPress-Tanzania: VODACOM Tanzania Plc has launched ‘Lipa Kwa Simu Valentine Campaign’ that will reward customers using their mobile phones in purchasing goods and services as way of promoting digital payments.
The M-Pesa Ltd Director, Epimack Mbeteni said the new campaign is part of Vodacom’s efforts to encourage customers to use digital payment in making transactions and benefit from the rewards and convenience that comes with it.
“Our customers can enjoy the security and convenience of Lipa kwa Simu for a variety of payments including purchase of items at Hope Holding stores and get rewarded with discounts, offers and price reductions including 10 per cent instant cashback for paying via M-Pesa during the month of Valentine,” he said.
The Lipa kwa Simu Valentine campaign is a partnership with Hope Holding covering brands like Red Tag, Sketchers, Bottega verde, Flormar, PapaRotti restaurant and Amal carpets.
Customers stand to get offers such as 50 per cent price reduction from Bottega Verde, a free Valentine Gift from Flormar Cosmetics if they buy two products, and they will get free pair of shoes from Skechers if they buy two pairs that must only be transacted via their mobile phones.
“I urge customers to take this opportunity and make payments via M-Pesa in order to not only enjoy these great discounts and offers, but also enjoy the comfort of security and convenience of digital payment during the entire month of Valentine starting today until 10th of March 2021,” Mbeteni added.
On his part, Hope Holding Marketing Director Jamal Omar called upon the public to visit Hope Holding shops, saying they have stocked important things and newly designed according to tastes in valentine.
