AfricaPress-Tanzania: CHAMA Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has ordered the members to be heard, the people’s grievances to be addressed and the party’s meetings to have developmental agenda instead of discussions or debates of the people.

CCM General Secretary Daniel Chongolo issued the directive when he spoke to party and government leaders and executives during a summary visit to Mbeya region.

Chongolo said the stability and stability of the party is the result of bringing development to the people, being responsive to them and respecting the principles of justice, peace, unity and stability.

“The party must be holding meetings and making sure they have developmental agendas and not discussing people, factions or developing group politics, at the same time remembering our citizens,” said Chongolo.

He said it was not fair for the people to get answers to grievances when national leaders visit them and their rights and obligations to the trustees to do so.

He warned that while the CCM is preparing for local elections it is not good for members to be accused of cooking so that they do not qualify for leadership.

“CCM has continued to be the only hope for Tanzanians as a result of our party to correct itself and restore greater trust in the people by managing the government effectively in improving social services, access to justice, control of acts of theft, corruption, corruption, strong condemnation of consumption abuse of power, protection of the country’s resources, counteract the practice of practices and productive use of government revenue, “said the CCM Secretary General.

He said the stability and resilience of CCM was due to the strengthening of democracy within the party so leaders and members should maintain that.

Chongolo cited another factor that enhances CCM’s credibility and its public acceptance is the strengthening of democracy, the disappearance of factions, integrity and accountability given impetus.

“CCM is the one we have been given the responsibility to provide leadership to our country and form a government so we should not allow bad things to happen under this guarantee given to us,” he said.

Chongolo and the CCM National Executive Committee Secretariat have concluded a tour of Rukwa, Songwe and Mbeya regions.
