AfricaPress-Tanzania: THE ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has directed the government to bring the body of the fallen President Magufuli in the Parliament, Dodoma for lawmakers to pay their last respects to the gone Head of State
Speaking shortly after the party’s Central Committee meeting held at CCM’s Lumumba sub-office in Dar es Salaam on Saturday the Ideology and Publicity Secretary Mr Humphrey Polepole said the decision was reached on the grounds Dr Magufuli was part of the Bunge.
Polepole added that the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) members will meet immediately after the Central Committee meeting to approve Samia Suluhu Hassan as the new party’s National Chairperson.
He called members of CCM to show up to pay their last respects to the body of the fallen chairman.
