AfricaPress-Tanzania: Government has set aside 420m/- for the construction of the 66.23 km Lushoto-Mlalo-Umba road, Parliament was informed today.
Works and Transport Deputy Minister Eng. Godfrey Kasekenya said in Dodoma that the Road Fund Board has released the money for the continuation of the project.
The Lushoto-Mlalo-Umba road if passable at all times is important for tourism activities as it connects the scenery and undulating Usambara Mountains and the sprawling Mkomazi Game Reserve in Same District, Kilimanjaro Region.
