BIDEN CRYS FOR POLICE WHO KILLED IN THE SENNET BUILDING

57

AfricaPress-Tanzania: US PRESIDENT Joe Biden has sent his condolences following the death of police officer William Evans, who was shot dead on the job and other soldiers injured.

In the incident outside the Senate building in the city, a car attacked a police barracks in the building and suddenly the killer came out with a knife and attacked the deceased and another police officer before he was killed.

The incident comes three months after another killing of police officers outside the building.

It was alleged that after the suspect who was driving the vehicle hit a police barracks in the building, he came down and attacked the officer with a knife and then followed another and did the same, before other police shot and killed him.

However, the attack has not been linked to terrorism.

“Although the incident is not linked to terrorism, we are investigating it in detail,” said Washington Assistant Commissioner of Police Robert Cantee.
