On areas of improvement, the parliamentary committee advised Tanapa to closely follow during this budget parliament for funds to construct the road from Iringa to Ruaha national park.
“This issue should be followed up because the road to Ruaha national park is very important but is not in good conditions, therefore there is a need to put more emphasis on this because there are a lot of attractions in this park,” he said.
He commended the efforts which have been taken currently to improve the road through the Resilient Natural Resource Management for Tourism and Growth Project (REGROW).
On the processing of forestry products, he said the committee would wish to see innovative technologies being used to create alternative energy sources to be distributed in other.
