AfricaPress-Tanzania: The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Brigadier General Wilbert Ibuge today met and held talks with the Chinese Ambassador to Wang Ke at the ministry’s offices in Dodoma where they discussed various issues including monitoring the progress of projects and programs. various implemented in cooperation between Tanzania and China.

Ambassador Ibuge explained that the good diplomatic relations between Tanzania and China have significantly enhanced trade, tourism and investment between the two countries, so the friendship between the two countries should be protected, maintained and developed in any situation.

“China has long been instrumental in the development of our Nation through various sectors such as the construction of transport and communication infrastructure such as railways and roads, so the ministry and the government as a whole sponsor and protect this historic brotherhood.” Said General Ibuge

Ambassador Wang Ke is grateful for the continued cooperation he has received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and the Government as a whole in carrying out its day-to-day responsibilities.

In addition, he has promised to continue to provide cooperation to ensure that the governments of the two countries and its people benefit from the good diplomatic relations that exist.
