AfricaPress-Tanzania: President John Magufuli has reminded Tanzanians not to sway to Covid-19 fears and instead bank and trust in God as they observe health precautions recommended by health personnel.
The head of state made the remarks on Sunday (February 21, 2021), when he participated in the First Sunday Lenten Service at St. Peter’s Parish Catholic Church, Orsterbay in Dar es Salaam
He also urged the citizens to steam and use natural herbs, which have medicinal value, citing some as Covidol and Bupiji, adding that, for instance the latter is being used in hospitals and has the capacity to treat Covid-19.
“There is a medicine called Bupiji…and many people who have used it have been healed, even in hospitals they use the drug, there is also a natural remedy Covidol that is a cure for many Tanzanians against corona,” said the President.
