AfricaPress-Tanzania: President John Magufuli has today made reshuffles and appointed Engineer Marwa Rubirya as new Njombe Regional Commissioner (RC) replacing Mr Jumanne Fhika, who was two days ago tasked in the position.
Mr Fhika was appointed as Njombe RC to replace Mr Christopher Ole Sendeka, who has taken forms to vie for parliamentary seat .
According to a statement from the State House, Mr Fhika will remain at the President’s Office, where he will continue with his duties.
Prior to his appointment, Engineer Rubirya was stationed in Mwanza as Tanzania National Roads Agency Manager.
Mr Rubirya will be sworn in at Chamwino State House on Monday, July 20,2020 and his appointments starts effective today.
