AfricaPress-Tanzania: Dr John Magufuli will be sworn in as the President of United Republic of Tanzania at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma on November 5, 2020.
Speaking to journalists in Dodoma on Saturday evening, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM)’s Ideology and Publicity Secretary, Humphrey Polepole thanked Tanzanians for electing the party’s presidential candidate Dr Magufuli with 84 percent of valid votes cast.
He said that the President-elect officially be presented with a victory certificate on Sunday and 400 people are expected to attend the event in Dodoma.
Mr Polepole has advised Tanzanians to think rationally as section of opposition camp call for a countrywide protest to boycott election results.
