AfricaPress-Tanzania: THE government has reassured its commitment of completing all the ongoing strategic development projects which are being implemented across the country.

The assurance was issued by Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa as he delivered a message from President Samia Suluhu Hassan during Friday prayers at the Gaddafi Mosque in Dodoma.

He said the government is well organised to deliver all projects on time, asking Tanzanians to continue maintaining national unity and solidarity. Mr Majaliwa insisted that all the plans for national development have remained intact.

“We started well, and we are progressing in the right direction, the end will be well too, let’s continue praying for good health of our President who is also the Commander in Chief of the armed forces so that she can continue serving the country… nothing will go wrong,” said Mr Majaliwa.

Adding: “The government is well organised to implement all projects and plans and nothing will go wrong, Tanzanians should continue trusting their leaders”.

According to him, the government will soon start constructing permanent structures of ministerial offices in Dodoma, taking over from the current temporary buildings at Mtumba government city.

“This is part of the strategic plans of making Dodoma the capital city of Tanzania,” he said, adding that President Samia has also asked Tanzanians to continue maintaining peace and unity as well as participate in development activities.

“We should continue praying for our country, and every one of us has to participate in development activities, the future prosperity depends on our collaborative efforts,” he noted.

In another development, the Prime Minister asked parents and guardians to ensure their children attend prayers and are taught proper morals in line with religious scriptures.

He said parents should not be leaving behind their children when going to prayer houses, since religious institutions have a greater role in shaping behaviour of their kids.
