AfricaPress-Tanzania: OVER 50 golfers have already confirmed their participation at this year CEOs (Chief Executives Officers) Luxury Retreat Golf Day.
The annual prestigious tournament set to take Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Golf Club of Zanzibar by storm this Saturday.
According to Sea Cliff Golf Manager Elias Soka all preparations for the one day tournament, including a draw were almost complete by late Wednesday.
Soka has confirmed that over 50 golfers from nine different countries have already registered for the tournament.
He said that the tournament is open for ladies and men, CEOs, diplomats and other golfers from around the globe.
He named countries that have representatives in the tournament as neighbouring Kenya, Uganda and Malawi. Others come from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Scotland, England, Germany and Korea.
He insisted that door is still open for those wishing to take part at the luxury retreat event which he said will be played under stable ford format.
“We invite golfers from Zanzibar, Tanzania Mainland and all over the world to come forward and register as the door is still for those wishing to play in the event,” he said.
According to Soka the tournament has received massive support from Park Hyatt Zanzibar, Moelectro, Sayona, Kiboko Plastics, MELIA Zanzibar, Johnnie Walker, Sea Cliff Resort & Spa of Zanzibar, ZMMI Wines & Spirits, Sea Cliff Court Hotel & Luxury Apartments, Auric Air and Cape Town Fish Market.
