AfricaPress-Tanzania: AFTER being shocked 1-0 by hosts Simba in Dar es Salaam, Al Ahly have turned the page of the CAF Champions League to start preparations for the game against Tala’ea El Gaish SC in the Egyptian League.
Al Ahly’s Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz has been quoted by the club’s website as saying the Egypt’s giants did their best in the match against Simba SC but Tanzanian side were strong in front of their fans.
“The players did their best in the match against Simba SC. We faced a strong opponent in front of their fans,” Abdelhafiz was quoted by the website as he added: “Losing to Simba SC will further complicate our next two matches against AS Vita Club.” “We have to be ready for the upcoming match against Tala’ea El Gaish SC and turn the page of the CAF Champions League.”
