PAMBA FC SIGN SEVEN PLAYERS

AfricaPress-Tanzania: MWANZA based First Division side Pamba have reinforced their squad by recruiting seven new players for the various positions.

Speaking to the Daily News, the team’s Information Officer Moses William said their team has recruited the players with the aim of ensuring their team perform well and is able to return to the Premier League.

He said all the players have signed a six-month contract.

He named the players as Samir Vincent from Kitayosce FC, Mussa Haji from Mbao , James Ambrose from Mwadui, Macha Mshanga who played for Singida United, Salum Mlemwa from Fountain Gate Academy while Tariq Abeid and Rodney Chitopela came from Arusha FC.

He said he believes very much the players will bring them success to the team by enabling it get good results in their second round games.

William named the players who have parted ways with the team as Newton Kituku, Exavery Kivamba, Benedict Lihokolelo, Jonathan Masimba and Enock Charles.

In the FDL standings, Pamba are on the top of the league table having gathered 18 points from eight games they have played so far.

The team has lost two matches against Transit camp FC and Kitayosa FC while they have won six matches.

Pamba have scored 12 and conceded four goals.

Their next match will be against Arusha FC at the Aga Khan Stadium in Arusha. After the game against Arusha FC, the team will return to Mwanza to play its match against Mbao at Nyamagana Stadium.
