AfricaPress-Tanzania: Ronaldinho’s mother Miguelina Elói Assis dos Santos has succumbed on Saturday aged 71 with a reports claims she had been battling Covid-19 in hospital in Brazil since December.
The Brazilian legend player’s mother was hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19 last year while in their home city of Porto Alegre, Southern Brazil.
In December 22nd, the Ballon d’Or winner tweeted saying, “Dear friends, my mother is with Covid and we are in the fight for her to recover soon. She is in the intensive care unit, receiving all the care. Thank you in advance for your prayers, positive energies and affection. Mother strength.”
