The second leg match will be held mid this week at the same venue. The first leg match was supposed to be held in Luanda, Angola but was cancelled and later shifted to Dar es Salaam by the African governing football body, CAF with Agosto therefore being regarded as the host.

The decision by CAF to cancel the game which was scheduled to take place at Estadion da Cidadela in Luanda came after the country’s authority put in quarantine three players and one official of Namungo ( who are still detained in Angola) after they allegedly tested positive for the Coronavirus on arrival in Luanda.

Namungo, who are making a maiden appearance in the CAF Club tournament therefore need a draw to sail through to the group stage.

They have garnered 35 points to remain in the fourth place.

In another match, Coastal Union lost 2-0 to JKT Tanzania at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.

The league rages on today with third placed Azam FC ( with 36 points) taking on eighth placed Tanzania Prisons (with 25 points) at Chamazi Complex.
