NBS Sport Signs MOU for Yambala4Me Festival 2025

Africa-Press – Uganda. NBS Sport has officially signed an MOU to cover the Yambala4Me Fort Portal Tourism Festival 2025, a national event that blends sport, culture, tourism, and health awareness. The festival will take place from November 7–9, 2025, at Lake Saaka Gardens, Fort Portal, Uganda’s designated tourism city.

The main attraction of this year’s edition is the International Fight – Uganda vs USA, featuring Moses Golola, Uganda’s iconic sports figure, representing the nation in a highly anticipated contest set to draw countrywide attention.

Through this collaboration, NBS Sport digital pages will showcase the festival’s key highlights — from the fight and marathon to wellness sessions, cultural exhibitions, and music showcases — offering audiences an engaging look at a national event built around health, unity, and celebration.

Speaking about the partnership, Victor Akatwijuka, Brand Manager at NBS Sport, said:

“Yambala4Me speaks to what NBS Sport stands for — using sport as a platform to inspire positive behaviour, community pride, and healthy living. This partnership gives us the chance to tell stories that go beyond competition and highlight the value of safety, fitness, and national identity.”

The Yambala4Me Festival draws its name from “Yambala,” a call to “wear it,” symbolising protection and responsibility. From helmets and life jackets to seatbelts, condoms, and mosquito nets, the message reminds Ugandans that small acts of care protect lives.

NBS Sport’s participation reaffirms its place as the home of Ugandan sport, committed to covering stories that shape communities and celebrate the country’s growing sports culture.
