The highly anticipated event brought together brand strategists, advertisers, PR experts, digital creators, and communication agencies, all united by the goal of advancing excellence in marketing.
Delivering the keynote address, George Arodi, Head of Uganda Baati, challenged marketers to adopt a results-oriented approach anchored in financial discipline and measurable impact.
“Marketers must learn to manage their budgets with precision. Let the numbers speak for themselves. Every shilling spent must show results,” Arodi said.
He urged professionals to embrace research, insights, and analytics as central tools in decision-making, warning that the era of “gut-feeling marketing” is over.
“Research and data should guide your strategy. Marketing today is not about noise — it’s about informed actions that deliver measurable outcomes,” he added.
The GOAT Annual Marketers Fireplace 2025 also honoured brands and individuals who excelled in creativity, innovation, social impact, and effective brand storytelling over the past year.
Awards were presented to both seasoned and emerging marketers, reaffirming the platform’s mission to celebrate excellence and inspire growth in the industry.
