Africa-Press – Uganda. Guinness Matchday on Tour will arrive in Mbale City for the first time on Saturday, February 7, 2026, bringing live Premier League football and entertainment to fans at Hamsam Arena.

After touring different parts of the country for more than a year, the Matchday Truck now heads east, where supporters will watch matches on large HD screens while enjoying music, games, and Guinness.

Mbale, known as a strong hub of Premier League fans, is expected to attract football lovers from across the city and neighbouring areas, all eager to experience the excitement of matchday.

The programme will feature a packed list of fixtures. Action will begin at 3:30 PM with Manchester United, who have won three matches in a row, taking on Tottenham Hotspur, who drew 2 all with Manchester City in their last outing.

At 6 PM, two matches will follow. League leaders Arsenal, who are six points ahead of Manchester City, will face eighth placed Sunderland, who beat Burnley 3 0 on Monday night. Chelsea, enjoying a three match winning run under new manager Liam Rosenior, will play Wolves.

The event will also include live music, with Dancehall and Afrobeat star Nandor Love set to perform. The Ghost Empire singer is expected to entertain fans with hits such as Kinawolo, Gumite, and Sente za Pill.

Local talent will add flavour to the experience, with MC Izak King hosting the event. DJ Viva Pro and DJ Caleb will provide music throughout the day.

Speaking ahead of the tour stop, Guinness Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, Denise Paula Nazzinda, said the event reflects the brand’s mission to improve fan experiences nationwide.

“As the official beer partner of the Premier League, Guinness is committed to bringing the game closer to fans, wherever they are. Mbale is a perfect fit for the experience, as a vibrant and well-populated city with a passionate football following and a buzzing matchday culture,” she said.

Guinness Matchday on Tour will continue across the country for the rest of the 2025/26 season.
